RCC Institute of Information Technology

RCC Institute of Information Technology (RCCIIT), is a designing school of eastern India situated in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. It positions as one of the top designing schools in West Bengal.[2] The school was built up in 1999. It is a legislature supported organization helped by Government of West Bengal and is scholastically subsidiary to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (some time ago known as West Bengal University of Technology).

The RCC Institute of Information Technology (RCCIIT) was set up in 1999.

The organization at first began with just three streams viz. Lone wolf's in Computer Science and Information Technology and Masters in Computer Application. In 2006 another stream was added to the four year college education - Electronics and Communication. From 2010 onwards numerous new streams and graduate degree in various Engineering courses were included.

The organization is right now headed by Prof. (Dr.)Debojyoti Mitra as the vital and Dr Sparshamoni Chatterjee (Ex Vc BESU Shibpur) who has been given the duty of leading the RCCIIT society by the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal.
