Lok Kala Manch - Delhi

Lok Kala Manch is not-for-profit organization, certified under Societies Act of 1860. Late Shri S. Ramaswamy is the founder president of this organization. It is devoted to the promotion of Indian cultural and creative heritage. It provides common platform for Indian artists to prove and show the shades and charm of Dance, Drama and Music. It accomplishments to bring about an amalgamation of the flawless of social and artistic life from the numerous districts of India and to work for the growth of an amalgamated Indian Culture.

The Society was designed and registered in the year 1959 and the programs promoted by it were held in Delhi and NCR region. In the year 1999, it start operating from its own premises to render artistic education to youngsters.

At present, the organization is situated in the Lodhi Institutional Area in New Delhi. The complex is very beautifully designed and is fully air conditioned. It has seating capacity of about 200 persons. Moreover, within the premises, there are two more halls available for business conferences and events.  The institute claims of the newest in Audio-Video utensils and systems with superb technological stuff and supported by experience.

To buoy up aspiring artists, the Society employs out the places at noticeably sponsored money. Individuals/societies who are fascinated in teaching music/dance could also gain these conveniences for starting and directing their classes. The Society organizes its own classes, teaching all Indian music forms like Bharatanatyam to more than 400 learners. In addition to this, the organization also conduct seminars and events related with traditional Indian dance, art, folk music and associated once.

With the principal objective to play a essential role in displaying and keeping alive the plethora of Indian arts, crafts and culture, this organization organizes cultural festivals in the domains of Carnatic and Indian- Vocal and instrumental – Indian classical music and dance forms.
