Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Farmers Science center), Baramati was set up on first August 1992 under the connection ICAR. From 1992 to 2008, the operational range of KVK was entire Pune region, yet after the foundation of new KVK in the Pune region, the operational territory is diminished to the 7 tehsils of Pune area. Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Baramati is Model, Hi-tech and National Award winning KVK of India working for cultivating group since 24 years for the improvement of maintainable farming. The point of Krishi Vigyan Kendra is to diminish the time slack between the innovation exchange from research organizations to the ranchers field for expanding generation, efficiency and wage from the agribusiness and partnered areas on a maintained premise.
The vision of the KVK is: To be the main asset and learning center of Agricultural innovation for the upliftment of the cultivating group.
