                                                   India Habitat Centre

The India habitat centre is India’s smartest conference and banquet panel with unparalleled inventory of about twenty-two halls more enough for visitors about 100 to 2000. It is a multi-purpose venue in New Delhi, India, established in 1993 for business as well as social spaces. The venue is known all around the world for its trustworthy and contemporary services.

The public organization for housing and urban development corporation limited wanted a commercial space for its employees and made the extraordinary decisions to invite selected non-profits institute that exchange their concern with the centre to exchange that work space.  

In the year 2009, the centre co-hosted his first habitat Summit with Urban habitats forms, a specialized civil society initiative whose main aim is to provide a multi-purpose public awareness and educational platform, and to offer reliable modification in Country’s cities by engaging all investors of society in refining country’s built environment.  

Organized in the month of September, the Summit assisted as a communication channel to position chief procedure matters and to emphasize chances for required change by highlighting community-related city regeneration projects.  

Since 2011, the India Habitat Centre, organizing the Delhi Photo Festival with the support of Nazar Foundation.  

Key objective of IHC:

-Organize physical environment in which professionals from different streams and institution can interact and resolve habitat related issues in a mutual manner.
-Promote awareness in respect to habitat-oriented environmental problems such as, air, water and noise pollution.
-Promote awareness about environmental problems due to human waste and used water.
-Improvement in Urban and Rural relations and lifestyle of people.
-Promote need of documentation all significant information pertaining to habitat and social settlement.
- Uphold the importance of education, research and development for human welfare.
-Give rewards, scholarships and stipends to promote goodwill in the society.   

The Duties and responsibility:-

In short, the IHC has mission to bring and improve a universal methodology to problem solving in the sectors of ecological and regional development, latest technology development and improving communication and lifestyle between different states.
