<p><strong>Windergy India Regional Conclaves </strong><br />Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association (IWTMA) in partnership with Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) coordinated a series of workshops in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telengana, Gujrata and Madhya Pradesh. <br />These workshops provided a platform for representatives of the State Government’s Energy Department, representatives from Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and representatives from Independent Power Producers (IPPs) and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to discuss the outlook for the Wind Power sector, understand the challenges and define a road map for the Wind Energy sector in their respective states.</p><p><strong>Road Map to 60,000 MW – White Paper</strong><br />Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association has partnered with The Energy and Resource Institute (TERI) to develop the Roadmap to achieving 60,000 MW installed capacity by 2022. <br />The White Paper will discuss the key issues of Power evacuation and grid integration, Policy and regulatory environment in India both at state and centre, challenges and opportunities in the value chain, impact of the new Tariff Policy etc.<br />The White Paper is scheduled to be released in January 2017.</p>
