Celebrated at a number of places, the grounds becomes the venue for the festival. During the festival, when the sun moves from the Southern Hemisphere to the Northern Hemisphere, it is reckoned as auspicious, to take a dip in the holy water. More than that, one can witness an intimidating sight of a huge gathering projecting different colours, making it a visual treat. A joyous mood, some singing and dancing and heavenly food.
