To make potential students from the city aware of different aspects of education in UK,British Council organised a one-day exhibition at the Le Meridian last week.
The exhibition had participation from 45 Universities included Birmingham City University,Cardiff University,University of Leeds,and Durham University among others in this one day event. Event also saw seminars on various aspects of study such as Engineering in the UK: an upgrade in skill and knowledge,Student Visas,Studying and living in the UK.
Speaking at the seminar “Studying and living in UK,” Susan O Neil,International officer,Glasgow University,said,“Studying in UK is drastically different from studies in India. Practical,dissertation and business journals and case studies in case of MBA is part of curriculum in UK. There are undergraduate,postgraduate or pathway courses for students to choose from but students should choose course depending on their interest and not just because certain course guarantees high employability.
