Description
The play is a theater adaptation of the critically acclaimed movie Saransh which was written and directed by Mahesh Bhatt.
Retired headmaster B.B. Pradhan is distraught and depressed owing to the violent death of his young son. His wife Parvati tries to look after him and console him, but she herself is shattered by this fateful happening. A believer in the almighty, Parvati, is told by her Guruji that very soon and her son will be reborn. Parvatis belief is strengthened when she comes to know that her paying-guest Sujata is pregnant. She is now sure that the baby Sujata is carrying is her own son Ajay who is coming back to this world.
Trapped in the dilemma of belief and practicability, B.B. Pradhan takes a shocking decision.
The actors have already performed the play and it has been received with love in Delhi and in Jodhpur, where it was showcased as the opening play of a national theater festival.
