The Kala Ghoda Arts Festival is one of the most important cultural expo that take place in Mumbai city every year. This wonderful expo is scheduled annually in the month of February and the venue for the exhibition is usually the Kala Ghoda region in Southern Mumbai.
Every year the festival is hosted for nine days and it was started in the year 1999. The festival has achieved a place in the cultural setting of Mumbai city. The organizer of this expo is the Kala Ghoda Association which is a non-profit seeking organization.
This will be the 15th edition and will take place inside a radius of a kilometer of the Kala Ghoda precinct. The festival is absolutely free of charge and available for all. The art festival provides numerous programs in, music, art, dance, theatre, visual arts, street level shows, literature, heritage walks and so many workshops for kids and teenagers. The show attracts large number of people from all over India to witness the numerous shows over the course of the festival. Moneys raised from the show are used in the renovation and maintenance of the area. Kala Ghoda Arts Festival will be held from 6th Feb to 14th Feb 2016 at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya in Mumbai, India.
