Description
The play begins with Chacha Chhakkan's chaotic search, one not so fine morning, for his lost eyeglasses while sporting the same. In the afternoon, takes care of his ailing son by administering wrong doses of medicine to the latter. Not discouraged by his idiocy, in the evening, he takes on the job of giving dirty clothes to the washer woman: This time, he ends up giving away his wife's gold button studded silk shirt.
In this process, the play showcases 24 hours in Chacha's life. However, in the garb of humor and satire, this stylish and comic play beautifully captures the socio-cultural milieu of the small town, middle class life.
