The Broadcast Today Asia is an International Exhibition for theComplete Broadcast, Production, Media & Entertainment Technology Industry. The objective of the Expo is to enlighten & educate everyone involved in the film industry with the latest updates (encompassing technology, equipment, products & sevices)
The India Media & Entertainment (M&E) Industry registered a growth of 12%, to reach INR 728 billion according to the FICCI-kpmg report. The industry is expected to register a CAGR of 15% to touch INR 1,457 billion by 2016.
Growth of regional media, fast increasing new media business, television continuing to retain its position as the dominant medium, growth of animation, VFX, digital advertising & gaming sectors, multiple movies corssing the INR 100 crore mark in domestic theatrical collections are some of the factors that attribute to this growth.
The over-all television industry is expected to growth at a CAGR of 17% to reach INR 735 billion in 2016.
The Indian film industry is projected to grow at CAGR of 10.1% to touch INR 150 billion in 2016
Othes key industries such as Music, Radio, Digital Advertising, Animation & VFX have all registered considerable growth in incomes and consumption this year.
