India Art Festival is a modern and contemporary art fair hosted annually at Mumbai and New Delhi since 2011. This organization aims to promote the Indian art by bringing art galleries and artists under one roof and creating their network with the art collectors, art buyers etc. India Art Festival has initiated the process of democratizing Indian art by bringing rural artists together with metro bred urban artists and showcasing contemporary art in a simple way without glamour and hoopla by bringing out from the confines of unapproachable art spaces thereby making art viewing and buying available to one all. This organization also helps the industries and companies associated with the sector to increase their base and business opportunities through the art festival and generate good sales lead for them in the market. It also encourages the professionals such as art writers, historian, art collectors, artists, art gallerists, art commentators etc to share their ideas and experiences with each other and to exchange quality information and knowledge related with the art and infrastructure in its "IAF conversations" a two-days educative seminar, a collateral event as a part of India Art Festival. The India Art Festival is currently headed by Rajendra as its managing Director who is also the Editor of Indian Contemporary Art Journal, a quarterly art magazine and the Vice-president of The Bombay Art Society. Many art experts are present on the India Art Festival advisory board.
