Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)

he ASEAN Secretariat in collaboration with the Permanent Mission of Myanmar to ASEAN held a project proposal development training in Nay Pyi Taw on October 2-3. The training aimed to enhance capacity of the project proponents in ASEAN Member States in developing quality project proposal, project implementation and monitoring as well as completion reporting.

The training highlighted the need to address the lack of awareness among potential proponents in ASEAN particularly on the available resources, how to access it, and guidelines on preparing and submitting proposals using the prescribed ASEAN project templates. It also highlighted the need for networking among prospective proponents and contact persons at both regional and national levels.
